【摘要】:Theresistivityofaliquidisameasureofitselectricalinsulatingpropertiesunderconditionscomparabletothoseofthetest.Highresistivityreflectslowcontentoffreeionsandion-formingparticles,andnormallyindicatesalowconcentrationofconductivecontaminants.1.1Thistestmethodcoversthedeterminationofspecificresistance(resistivity)appliedtonewelectricalinsulatingliquids,aswellastoliquidsinservice,orsubsequenttoservice,incables,transformers,circuitbreakers,andotherelectricalapparatus.1.2Thistestmethodcoversaprocedureformakingrefereetestswithdcpotential.1.3Whenitisdesiredtomakeroutinedeterminationsrequiringlessaccuracy,certainmodificationstothistestmethodarepermittedasdescribedinSections19-26.1.4ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.Nootherunitsofmeasurementareincludedinthisstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.See17.6foraspecificwarningstatement.
