【摘要】:ThetexsystemhasbeenapprovedforgeneralusebytheInternationalOrganizationforStandardization,TechnicalCommittee38onTextiles(ISO/TC38),whichhasalsorecommendedalistofroundedtexnumbersforusewithfibersandalltypesofyarns.ConversiontablesshowingtheroundedtexnumberscorrespondingtovariousnumbersindifferenttraditionalsystemsaregiveninTablesD2260andISO2947.Thetexsystemfordesignationofthelineardensityoffibersandyarnsisadirectsystembasedonmassperunitlength,M/L,andemploysmetricunitsoflengthandmass.Thetexunit,gramsperkilometre(1000m)hasbeenapprovedbyISO/TC38forusewithallfibersandalltypesofyarn.Thecommitteehasalsoapprovedtheuseofkilotexanddecatexnumbersforcoarsestructuresanddecitexandmillitexnumbersforfibers.Thetexsystemrelatestothepropertycommonlyassociatedwithcoarseness,orinversefinenessofayarnbecausethetexnumbersincreasewithanincreaseinthesizeormassperunitlengthoftheyarn.Thetexsystemisintendedforusebyallbranchesofthetextileindustry,inallcountries,foryarnsmadefromalltypesoffibersormixturesoffibers.1.1Thispracticecoverstheuseofthetexsystemtodesignatethelineardensity(number,orcount)offibersandofyarnsmadefromanytypeoffiberorcombinationoffibers.Itisalsoapplicabletoothertextilematerials,includingyarnintermediates(slivers,rovings,tops,etc.),singleorpliedyarns,cords,andthreads.Note1Themassperunitlengthconceptoflineardensityisapplicabletoanymaterialwhichhasahighratiooflengthtocrosssection.1.2ConversionfactorsforvariousindirectanddirectyarnnumberstoexacttexequivalentscanbefoundinStandardTablesD2260.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
