【摘要】:Thisspecificationcoversthegeneralrequirementsfornylonstuffingtubesandpackingassemblies.Nylonstuffingtubesareintendedformakingelectriccablepenetrationsinmarineshipboardenclosuresforelectricalequipment.Thefollowingtypesaresuitableforboththin-wallenclosuresupto5mm(3/16in.)thickandthick-wallenclosures,bulkheads,anddecksof5to19mm(3/16to3/4in.)thick.1.2Thisspecificationdoesnotcovermetalstuffingtubes.Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortoitsuse.
