【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiestheminimumperformancerequirementsandmethodsoftestforpersonalprotectiveequipment(PPE)coveringthetorso,neck,arms,hands,legs,feet,head,eyesandhearingforwildlandfirefighting.ThisInternationalStandardcoversthegeneraldesignofthePPE,theminimumlevelsofperformanceforthematerialsemployedandthemethodsoftestused.ThisPPEisnotintendedtoprovideprotectionduringfireentrapment.ThisInternationalStandarddoesnotcoverPPEforstructuralfirefighting(seeISO11613),foruseagainstchemical,biological,radiologicalandnuclearhazards,orforusewhereareflectiveoutersurfaceisrequired(seeISO15538).Activitiesinsupportofwildlandfirefighting,suchasthecuttingoftreesandtheuseofachainsawcanrequireadditionalprotectiontothatprovidedinthisInternationalStandard.Usersaredirectedtothoserelevantstandardsfortherequirementsassociatedwithsuchprotection.NOTEPerformancerequirementsforrespiratoryprotectivedevices(RPD)forwildlandfirefightingarenotavailableatthetimeofpublication.AnInternationalStandardforRPDisunderdevelopment.
